A very common question I hear from young creators is, "How do I find my style?" In other words, illustrators and designers want to define a signature look and feel.
I fundamentally disagree with the premise of that question.
As designers, we're hired to be adaptable. Each client, brand, and project should have its own unique voice.
And if you're early in your career, you're still learning. Why limit yourself to one look and feel?
Practice across styles and applications.
If you want your work to show up everywhere, design everything.
